Great!
Thanks for the research. I really appreciate it. I am gonna start working on the paint when I get home this weekend.

Here, at last, are the photos of my Seca II since I re-painted the upper fairing red again. The color is not a match, but looks pretty good to me. You also see the Corbin seat and my new tiny tank bag.
I will be getting some bar risers to make the final improvements on the comfort. I was able to dial down the pre-load. Doing that lowered the bike 1/2 an inch so I can put my feet down with the Corbin seat on (Thank you Alex).

Looks a little better every time you post a pic. Keep at 'er, I cannot wait to see the final result.

Have you considered pulling the fairing and converting it into a naked? It'd take a while, and you need to hide some wires etc, but I think it'd look awful nice if you did it right.

Get her a little windscreen and you're good to go!
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

gonna have to agree with Sev on that fairing. Try and fab something up for a headlight mount (go with a round headlight... sweet looking) and gauges, but in the end, you'll have a sweeter looking ride IMHO.

it definitely looks better now then when you had it black though!

keep it up!

Henri,

No problem. Your bike looks awesome. Much better than mine, but I am going to continue working on the paint this coming weekend and I will put the windscreen on when it comes. Once I'm finished, I will definately post some pics to rival your work.

Your bike doesn't look bad in your avitar. Post some bigger pics. What is the color? I have seen a couple of those posted for sale on Craigslist, but I can't determine the actual color. Is it more blue or more green?

Let me know when the windshield arrives, should be there any minute.

The windscreen arrived on Monday. I had it sent to my parent's house (where the bike is temporarily  ) so I haven't had a chance to check it out yet.

My bike is dark green almost black in color, but it shines green in the sunlight. There are some cosmetic issues with it as of now. I am gonna try to finish that up this weekend. When I get the new windscreen on and some paint work done, I'll post some pics. As of right now, it looks pretty ratty. But thats going to change :D .

I painted the headers and the exhaust on my Seca II. I used a flat black High heat paint, withstands up to 1500 degrees, and a glossy paint, resists up to 500 degrees for the cans. I sanded first and did 2 coats. I think it look a million times better. Here are a before and after. The photos of the bike back together are too bright and don't show the paint well. So, I will take better ones and get them up soon.
