Hey verm, might wanna keep at least one hand on the bike when moving...... just seems a little counterproductive to take your hand off the throttle.... that and it just seems to be beggin for a tank slapper. But heck, I aint your parent, just try to keep it shiney side up....

BTW, that new siggie is a little hard on the eyes..... I prefere the older one to the inverted colour scheme.

it's still part of getting to know your bike, getting to know how stable it really is.

my bike has a steering damper so im not too worried, plus, i don't do it for a long time, im not that confident yet. i also look ahead and try to look for debris that might upset the bike before i let go.

and is it really that hard on the eyes? i'll remove it if i get 1 more comment about it being hard on the eyes. fair enough?

after this... 3 riders left and we got joined by another 1. we did a bunch more riding and stopped at the place they call, "The Tree"

this place is the perfect place to practice wheelies, launches and drag racing.

It was freakin' hot here as well.

May I make a suggestion? Blank out the license number of your bike before you post it for the world to see.

yeah it was hot, it was over 100 today.

about lic plates... it's public info. people see it all the time whenever you drive or ride or park in public.

if im gonna worry about it, i'd worry 1st about the people around me rather than peeps at the net.

7/24/06

i went to practice at the canyons. i left at almost 7p so that the heat won't be that bad. i stopped when it's started to get dark around 8:15p.

my rear tire slid on me at 3 different occassions... it was scary and it affected my confidence. :(

im also having some problem w/ my bike. it just started to show up lately. i'll make a post on the trouble shooting board.
