It was 104F a couple days ago and I went outside in my thinsulated leather jacket and riding pants, talk about way overkill for a short commute, I was fairly comfortable when moving but when I got stuck in traffic sweat was pooring off me! Well now I'm just stuck in between gear, so I'm giving riding a little break, I've got a teknic violator suit on order, not sure how that is going to be, maby if it gets real hot I'll just wear my underwear under the leathers, haha.

Its only around 95 or so here. I am glad it is prime riding weather.

I got the bike out today to run some errands and did 25 miles in stop and go traffic. It was pretty hot, and I was wearing a black mesh jacket, black jeans, black boots, black gloves and full face helmet. I was sweating some, but not really uncomfortable.

Tomorrow calls for 89* F, and 50% humidity. Its really quite mild for July in florida. I am a skinny guy and I welcome the heat. It will be gone soon enough and I can take it just fine. I hate the cold, I have no insulation to deal with it. I dont like air conditioning if its pulling room temp below 74* F or so. I like the heat, and will ride my bike no matter how hot it gets. It wont stop me from wearing my gear either.

When it gets cold (2weeks out of the year total) I will park the bike.

Its 95 here today in Germany. Most German houses dont have AC either. Fortunately my house sits partually underground so it isnt soo bad on the bottom floor. Upstairs where the kitchen is at totally sucks. This morning I was only able to cool the upstairs to 86 with fans and keeping the windows open

After spending a few days in the hot sun in MSF class, I decided to order an Alpinestars Air-Flo mesh jacket. It's pretty brutal around here and I'm sure it's not going to get much better anytime soon.

Last night I decided to take the bike for a 3 mile ride to the grocery store. It was 10:00 PM, dark and 102F. I was sweating like a pig the whole way there and back. I should have waited until 5:00 AM when the temp bottomed out at 91F.

It's this time of year that I hate living in the desert.

My buddy and I went for a four hour ride today at 11:30.... not sure what we were thinking. Talk about getting dehydrated. At least it was fun just getting out of the house and not being at work... At least at night the sun isn't beating down on you so its ALMOST decent, almost.

I'm taking my MSF course tomorrow and thankfully it's dropping from a 101 degree high average to 92 degree high starting tomorrow.

Yay, I get to spend all day tomorrow standing around in the heat during my MSF thing! I doubt I'll be moving very much except maybe in circles.

I'm gonna bring a cooler full of snacks and drinks (water and gatorade). Plus I'm already bringing some of my extra gear for a couple of others with none of their own.

In Denver it hit 104 last Sunday but with no humidity. Riding isn't bad if you heading into the mountains. Up over 10,000 ft elevation it was actually cool. Great ride is to go up to the top of Mt Evans a 14,000+ elevation mountain with a paved road all the way to the top. Very cool up there even on the hottest days. But if you go, go early because the storms roll in around 1pm.

The daily afternoon thunderstorms are more of a pain to riding than the heat.
