Your latest excuse to ride

#1 Post by khad » Tue Jul 25, 2006 4:24 am

I have been finding all sorts of excuses to ride. I've already bought groceries but I've been eating out every day. (Almost) out of toothpaste? I better go get more.

How about just going to work?

You don't need an excuse to ride, just do it.

I don't need an excuse. I ride whenever I say I'll ride.

or Miami...wish we had canyons here, just a bunch of flat land

I don't really need to find an "excuse" to ride, I just find myself taking the bike alot more than the car lately, except to work because I have to drop the baby off at preschool...

Uh oh, looks like I have to go to the bank and then get something to eat. Errands errands errands. :D

Yeah, riding around just for the fun of it is good, but I just feel the need to be goal oriented. Get from point A to point B in order to do something.

Texas has some great places to ride. Check out the hill country.

Granted, depending on where you are that could be couple days ride away, but it's still in texas.

You think those are bad...try Iowa.

The whole state is set up in a grid...and it's flat...and our scenery consists of corn and soy bean fields. It's not terrible though; at least the weather is nice and I ride all the time.

Oh...latest excuse to ride: Gotta go to work

Next excuse to ride: Taco Tuesday at the Bell (on the other side of town  )
