My excuse at this point:

I'm in Vancouver. I need to be in Edmonton. My bike is parked downstairs. Bye guys!
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Going home from work is reason enough for me.

It is the company laptop, right? As in the company's laptop... not yours... so what are you worried about?

My company laptop is a huge desktop-replacement beast.... I much prefer my personal laptop which is 3lbs of ultraportable that fits nicely just about anywhere. In either case, it's just, "toss the bag on the back and strap it down."

With gas prices so high I find myself looking for excuses to ride. My bird needed food and I had to return a couple rented videos :D

I have to look for excuses not to ride, like "it's 110 degrees F outside today so maybe I'll take the car."
