What do you think made it slide? Was there some gravel?

Your bike should be under warranty. Why not go directly to your dealer?

yes, i'll try to see if i can get an appointment for wednesday.

regarding the slide

one slide was in a short right-left-right S corners... it slid on the left middle turn.

the other 2 was from hairpins turns. 1 time on the entrance and the other was in middle ot the turn.

i heard some people w/ the same bike as mine having slide problems on the stock tires. so maybe it's just the tires or maybe there is gravel. i didn't brake and i didn't mess up my throttle control.

those short S corners are fun though. bike never stays straight up. :D

7/26/06

i went canyon riding early this morning to avoid the heat...

i met 2 other other riders... one has an R1 and the other has a race ready gixxer 600.

the guy w/ the gixxer600 is so lucky... his bike was given to him by his GF's dad. his GF's dad races and he got 2 K6 models so he gave the 04 600 to him. it's got everything, race bodywork that has mounts for lights to make it street legal, race suspension, race steering damper, race full sys exhaust, race rear sets, engine was re-tuned, power commander, etc. the whole shebang!

he was even running race slicks.

damn lucky guy.

too bad i didn't have my camera. :(

Your chain is gold?

Did you lubricate it after you clean it? Try to buff out those scratches?

some of the scrathces from the drop are deep so they can't be fixed unless it's repainted. it doesn't bother me anymore. you can't see them unless you're up close anyway.

that pic i took on that last ride was the side that was scratced. you can't see it except on close up.
