i've got my own little fan club
i ride by a park on my way home at lunch, and on nice days there's a daycare lady who takes the kids there, and they all are lined up at the fence when i come by. i've stopped once or twice and let them sit on the bike, they love it when i come by and rev the engine.

Actually, I've been thinking about this alot lately. I've come to the conclusion that I am not really a squid any more, although I was once.... for a long whileMag7C wrote:HAHAHA WHAT A FKING SQUID!!!!BuzZz wrote:It can be done....khad wrote:Is a burnout even possible on a bike? Now I think I'm more 'hooligan-esque' than anything.

Can you honestly say that with a straight face BuzZz? You almost got me hit by a truck... and I def remember you riding along the sidewalk. LoL.
I remember one time riding in to school when I ended up behind a school bus at the lights. The back of the bus literally dropped as all the kids ran back there to check out the guy on the bike. I waved, 20 ten year old hands waved back. The bus started moving, and I waited for my chance then took off around it so they'd all go sit back down.
Pretty cool.

Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Hey, Man, it wasn't me that 'almost got you hit by that truck' (10 feet back and a lane over doesn't really count as a close call does it?) it was your own lack of assertiveness and pussyfootin' around that turned your shorts brown.
What's a sidewalk? You mean them thin cement roads next to the big wide lanes all the cages use?

So, I was talking about cuttin in on whyte ave, when the guy in the yellow truck decided he didn't want 3 bikes in front of him, so gunned it... and actually moved the leather elbow of my jacket with his bumper.
And yes, I love those tiny concrete roads. Damn people are always in the way though!
