Hello form London

#1 Unread post by london bubble »

Hi Folks

Great forum just checkin in, i live in London, I just sold my ZX6R and replaced it with an Africa Twin i gotta Harley Sportster as well, i have ridden the Harley solo to

Denmark,Norway,Finland,Russia,Estonia,Sweden,Germany,Holland,Belgium,France,Switzerland,Italy,Greece & Cyprus and i have ridden the ZX6R all around Spain. Myself having been raised during the cold war era it felt quite neat taking a US bike into Russia. When one of the border guards asked me what bike i was riding, i replied Harley Davidson, he replied in a very heavy Russian accent 'Ah! Harley Davidson.....the american dream, it brought a smile to my face :)

The Africa twin is gonna be my new tourer now, i wanna sell the Harley but damned sentiment won't let me, the Harley has been more reliable than any of the women in my life, and unlike them has got better looking with age

I hopefuly will be doing a round the world tour in about four years, gonna try afew bikes out before i go see which bike i finally settle with

Good to have you here, London.

I like those Africa Twins. Too bad we can't get them here in the U.S. It looks like you get around, we'd love to see some pics of your travels if you have some.
