Palomar is a mountain... and home to one of the largest telescopes on the planet.... but you are still a 110lb Filipino at heart, Verm...
You're just becoming Americanized.
I want to thank -Holiday for a fun ride yesterday... we met up along the 15 and I rode along for only a few miles (I think about 70 but I could be wrong) but we had a nice cruise along Ortega Hwy and did Safe Riding Technique demonstrations for each other on interstate 5... very worthwhile, I learned a lot. I parted ways when we reached Oceanside... I took Ortega Hwy again going the other way and made it home by about 9:00PM...

Ride it like you think owning it matters.

Congrats -Holiday! You made it. Enjoy your time there.
A dog had his chain reduced one link at a time, every few days, until his chain was so short he could barely move. He never resisted because he was conditioned to the loss of his freedom slowly, over time. Are we in this country becoming like the dog?

So, I'm two days behind in updates. Let me start back from when I left Salina Utah...
I got a late start this day, but it was ok knowing i only needed to do around 300 miles to Vegas. Total miles ended up being 333. I basically came out of the mountains in Utah, dropped a few thousand feet, and then heated up like a hot potato.

Man was it hot. At one point in St George, it was 110 degrees, and I decided to stop at a starbucks and chill in the AC for a few hours. Before that though, I paid 5 bucks and got to ride through Zion National Park which was beautiful! I already posted a few pics on that, but here are a few more:

so after a break, I got moving again. After an hour or so, to my suprise, I saw this:

i guess i needed to look at the map more because I didnt even know I'd be going through Arizona. Basically, it was only for 30 miles, but it was really need, as it cut through a big mountain

then it was basically desert desert desert for another 97 miles, until I got to vegas

and to my hotel

ok, i have some errands to run, but I have some more to post when i come back...
