Listening to music while you ride?

I can't ride, drive, or man a .50 cal w/o music.

always ride with my IPOD connected to my head

if i was just tooling around to the shops, 10 min ride, i wouldnt bother, but for anything else the ear plugs are always the thing i put on before the gloves and helmut

i use the ones that actually insert right inside your ear, nothing for the helmut to catch on

they also double up nice as ear plugs when the music is off to block wind noise

I used to do a lot of highway riding and used to listen to music all the time. I found that if you looped the cord over your ear and inserted the bud in upside down it wouldn't move whilst putting the helmet on. Plus it doesn't sit right in the ear so you still get to hear a little of the outside world.

I have a set like that. Don't you find that they work their way out of your ears after a while? Mine rarely stay in for more then a couple of hours. I think it's from the wind moving the cord around between my jacket and the helmet.

And yes, I'm using the right size of silicone wafers. I'm wondering if there's a better way maybe.

Don't you mean "dual-core"? If you had dual processors, I might just start calling you "Verm: 6 million dollar man."

AMD RULES!

everyone has a dual core brain, there is the left and right sides. Womens' sides talk to each other better, mens function better on their own.

I use the in-ear phones that work with my phone, the LG8100, that way if I get a call I can answer it, though nobody can hear me ever, they stay in pretty good when I take off my helmet, and isolate just enough to reduce the pain of wind noise. I have to have a small chunk of ear plug inside the phones though, between the speaker and the rubber tube, so that its not too loud
