GOOD GEAR SHOPS?

#1 Unread post by MAKER »

You guys got any inside tips on where I can get a good cruiser jacket? The catch, something not entirely BLACK?

I'd like to have something with more visibilty, maybe in a shop jacket style?
Are there any hidden places to search online besides motorcycle-superstore.com, etc?

Thanks guys!

try newenough.com and parts411.com

you might wanna check out touring jackets... it fits the style of the cruisers and they come in visible colors.

I'd check out the local bike shops, you can try them on there, and see what fits the best.

I've got a Joe Rocket Alter Ego that I love to death because it has a removable waterproof liner, and a large exterior section that zips off to turn it into a mesh jacket. Comes in black, or black&red/blue/white.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Check the local bike shops in your area. Most will work with you if you have an online price. They may not be able to beat the price, but at least you try the merchandise on first and see how it fits and if you like it. Plus you support your local economy as well. 8)
