I bet you nailed it. Shorts and stray voltage can suck the power out of a battery really quick.

if you are still unsure. turn your bike off and disconnect your pos or negative battery cable (only one not both) and put your ammeter in series, This will tell you if you have any parasitic loss, then start disconnecting things untill you are no longer pulling any amps. That will allow you to find your problem circut
