The 250 puts out ~30HP, the 500 somewhere around 50. I'm not sure about the 250, but the 500 has a corrected quarter mile time (thank you, Motorcyclist magazine) of 12.81@101.2. It doesn't list 0-60 since that's a fairly useless measure anyway.

ninja 250 has around 33 bhp. the 500 has around 55bhp.

keep in mind that bhp is crank hp... wheel hp is lower but that's what really counts.

my bike is rated 150bhp. but at the wheel, it puts out 115-130whp depending on where you dyno it.

anyway... i read somewhere that the 250 can go 0-60 in 5 secs and the 500 can go in 4 secs. that's pretty good compared to way more expensive cars that can accelerate like that.

also keep in mind that those 0-60 ratings are done by pros.

BHP is NOT crank HP. The HP at the crank will be higher than the brake horsepower.

BHP is one type of crank HP. If your crank HP is measured with a brake dyno, then your crank HP is BHP.
Ride it like you think owning it matters.
