Hello all,
I lost my cousin 3 months ago to a ruthless person who had no regard for anyones life when his bike broke down on the road and while waiting for help on the shoulder of the road he was shot to death. My family vowed we'd do something to help others so this does not happen again. So after many sleepless nights and conversations with my family I am starting a website for all of us bikers who at some time or other have been out of gas/stranded/brokedown/stuck on the road anywhere in the United States. Would you be willing to have contact information available to fellow bikers traveling the roads? Could be as little as an email address, cell phone or home phone number that they could call if they needed a repair shop nearby or a place to sit/sleep/eat maybe a trailer outback that has been vacant or if you know of a bed n breakfast they could go to until they are able to fix their bikes maybe even with our help if we know how to fix bikes to get them back on the road thsi way they won't be alone and they would at least be safe! As I did my research after my cousins death I have come to realize this happens more often than I could ever imagine, bikers are killed while stranded and I want to help prevent this from happening if at all possible. The roads especially out west can be real lonely. Although most of us travel in pairs/groups there is always someone who doesn't!
So if your willing to help please email me at sharebuilder2006@yahoo.com and lets help our fellow bikers!
Thanks, D.J.
will you help?

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your cousin.
There are riding clubs in existence that have such a thing as you are speaking of.
For example, The International Star Riders Association has what is known as SINS.
It means Stars In Need Of Service.
I've know members of the SCRC (Southern Cruisers riding club to do the same.
Good luck with your goal.
