Good you're still in one piece. Good lesson for all of us: be aware of what is behind you & keep watch, stay in gear, leave a way out.

Doesn't hurt to have Kris' voice (msf instructor) yelling/echoing in your head at every stop if you don't shoulder check and don't watch behind you "BAM you're dead!"
Ya right, there are only 2 kinds of bikes: It's a Ninja... look that one's a Harley... oh there's a Ninja... Harley...Ninja...

Yeah, that factored into my check KC. "BAM you're dead!" Makes one hell of an impact.

Truth be told it wasn't all that scary, just situation, reaction, wow that was close. Lets get out of here. Afterwards I was more mad at the truck driver then anything else. Even though it may not have been his fault.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Glad you're still around. Not only are you a great forum member, but my girlfriend is wanting a 599 and I'm going to need someone to answer my questions on it.

Again, I'm completely selfish

My girlfriend has an aversion to things people died on.

That and that's horrible! Sev loves that bike, he'd probably haunt it and then where would I be? With a pissed off girlfriend and a bike no one would buy off me because it was haunted. Seriously

When I go I'm taking the bike with me. You're welcome to buy the scrap pile it becomes however. Should cover the cost of the cardboard box coffin I get.
