but I loved it before I ever decided to ride bikes. It is a 93 Suzuki Intruder 800. The older intruders are so much more pretty to me, but the down side is you have to learn something about maintaince...

The only time when evil can triamph, is when good men do nothing!
I just started riding so my ride is a 86 Rebel 250.... which is great because I can flat foot it. Will probably go to a standard or sport touring when my skills are better.
The 96 CB750 Nighthawk was in my price range and suited my desire to avoid tickets and afford the insurance.
I was able to hammer on a new ZX12 at Bike Week a couple of years ago (Kawasaki was the only one to offer test rides on their entire sportbike line). They encouraged a "realistic" ride, he-he! IF insurance wasn't as much as my house payment per month...and IF speeding tickets didn't exist....lol!
I'm riding a cruiser with forward controls. I tried other styles, but this one gave me the most comfort and feeling of security. The posture of a sport bike did not suit me, but I can ride my cruiser all day.
I ride a 2002 Dyna Wide Glide with Screamin' Eagle carbeurator and intake and Vance and Hines mufflers and exhaust. I'll have to figure out how to post a pic....
