16 year old DUTCH BMW Boxer fan

#1 Unread post by Colin »

Well hello, I found this forum on www.Google.nl .
My name is Colin Haselaar and I live in Nieuw-Vennep, 20 km south of Schiphol (Airport).
Since my parents left each other, my dad has an blue 1980 BMW R100RS build to RT.
In the yesteryears he drived 3 BMW R75-5 and 1 R75-6.
In July we went to South-Germany and on the highway from Munich the clutch broke down (5th gear).
My dad like motorcycling, so now he had two 1980 R100RT's, the blue one get's a new clutch and he's second RT is a 1980 BMW R100RT REDSMOKE.
Here is the blue one,

Here his first motorcycle, second hand BMW R75-5 with front (wheel, etc.) from an Laverda 750SF,

The second R75-5 from my dad was green,
his firth was blue, but like his first he made an accident and then he made the R75-5 like an R90S TT-Smoke/Silberrauch, but not complete,

And his fourth R75, the R75-6,

In Holland there is a rule that you may drive max. 25 kw, so I think when I'm 18 I will buy an BMW R45.
But in this two years there can happen very much...

In Holland there are many truck-photografers, well I'm one to, but now I'm one of the first (I think..) motorcycle-photografers.

I have an website/photo-forum to, www.Haselaar.xsbb.nl

My English is not perfect, so maybe there are some mistakes in this text.

So, I did not looked very good to this forum, so I'm going to check it now some beter.

Greeting,
Colin Haselaar from Holland.
Greetings from Holland!

Welcome aboard!! Thank you for sharing those great photos. It sounds like you have a clear path ahead of yourself for both biking and photography. That R100RT looks like a good fit for you. Enjoy the forums!

Cheers,
Loonette

p.s. Don't worry too much about your English - you use it better than most who claim it as their first language.
