I've noticed that there are a lot more bike related commercials than there used to be. Yamaha plugs their Star series quite a bit and I've seen a few Honda spots here and there. Geico and Progressive advertise motorcycle insurance pretty heavily, as well. It might be that I just happen to watch the channels in their target demographic.
Motorcycling has become a lot more popular than it used to be. 10 yrs. ago, you wouldn't have seen a motorcycle commercial anywhere. Back in the 70s, when motorcycling was enjoying it's last boom, it wasn't unusual to see a Honda or Kawasaki commercial on TV.
