Greetings From Ga. (and by the way, HELLLLLLLPPPPPPPPP)
Suzuki Boulevard S40 (Savage)
+The Savage is an excellent choice, PKB. (Had one for a while...)

To quell any concerns you may have re its air-cooled nature and high temps, I simply suggest a quality synthetic oil.
Enjoy the bike.
Ride on.

Tons of fun? Believe it. The S in S40 stands for "Sweet". A bit more vibration than a V-Twin, yes. But she is light and responsive and capable of more speed than I'll ever give her. We went for a 30 mile stroll on some county asphalt yesterday evening and (1)I didn't manage to kill myself, and (2) my legs weren't frying while stopped.
I kinda hate that the break-in speed is limited to 60mph.
I'm just an ol' country boy who's been a million miles or two on four wheels, and frankly would have never dreamed of challenging the madness of suburbia on two wheels. I'm blessed with many miles of relatively light traffic hardtop to learn on, and a renewed appreciation for the fact that you only live once.
Thanks again for everyone's input. I gotta go. It's 7:40, and my learners permit is only valid during daylight..........................
