I`ve been looking around for a good beginner bike when i came across this machine. While reading up about it on the kawasaki website it repeats several times that this bike is beginner friendly. Is this accurate even though it is 650cc. Does this bike still perform well, with its very compact engine? I would like any information on this bike that anyone may have. I`m really interested in it. It oooks really good and supposedly performs quite well. Please let me know if it is actualy good for beginners and if it performs well

I don't have much experience with the bike itself (haven't even been able to find one a dealer). However, all the rav puts it at a good beginners bike on par with the SV650. Keep researching it though and make sure to sit on bikes you like. My g/f hates the Honda CBR but loves any kawasaki or suzuki, yet after a trip to the dealer is starting to prefer a V-strom 650. The feel of a bike means as much as the level of riding it's intended to be used for.
