Begining Bike Question
Begining Bike Question
May I firts start by saying thank you for all the info that I have read so far. I know to start with a smaller bike, something with less horsepower, to learn. But what about ease of repair? Is one engine, V or in line easier to work on. I am going to buy a used bike and if I am starting from scratch with an already worn bike I would like to learn to work on it as well. ny suggestions?

Easiest engine to work on?
Single thumper, air cooled, carburetted, kickstart, chain driven.
Everything else is more complicated.
Just realised with the exception of the kickstart I've just described the Savage.
Let's start at the begining - What kind of bikes do you like?
Oh and welcome to TMW.
