calibrating twin leading shoe drums

calibrating twin leading shoe drums
I've got a 75 cl360 with a twin leading shoe front drum, on visual inspection it looks as if the front moves a more than the rear, how would I go about calibrating the system to know that they're both activating at the same time. Or are they maybe supposed to work at different points in the stroke?
