I recently got my hands on a 1982 Yamaha XS400RJ Seca. It is a beautiful bike for its size. Unfortunately it has a fuel leak in the tank.
I put JB weld on my tank to stop a leak on the bottom of my tank. It began to leak again recently and I want to remove the epoxy so I can weld it and reapply JB weld. I then want use POR-15.
any advice would be welcomed... thanks...
removing JB weld from a gas tank?

... why would you weld it... and then reapply jb weld?
I can understand the POR treatment to get rid of corrosion and protect against future rust throughts... but JB weld is an epoxy that you use so you don't have to weld... welding is a much better solution
It's like saying "I need to fix it well, then fix it not so well"
