Is the purpose of a frame slider to protect your bik incase you crash or dump it. Also wouldnt that mess up the frame if u dump it hard

do they do a good job of protecting the fairings? Since you`ve obviously had an experience with them, how much damage did u still get on your bike even with the sliders

it should save the fairings but it still depends on how bad you crash and how the ground is levelled.

2 times that i went down... i got lucky and no mechanical part was broken so i was still able to continue my canyon ride.

my fairings got damaged bec of the road surface is not even. but... the damage would have been way worse if it weren't for the sliders.

install them... they look bad but it will help.

they're fine from that view.

what i don't like is the view from the front and rear.

but like i said... it's something really worth sacrificing the looks of your bike.

also... if you're gonna finance a bike... get full cov insurance.

a guy i rode w/ the week before didn't get one and his bike was stolen... now... he's paying for 2 bikes and i believe the guy still didn't learn and still didn't insure his current bike.

They are nice to have but with a lot of sport bikes you need tail sliders and other types as well. The engine sliders will help protect the main fairing but you'll still tear up the tail section and other parts.

Some guy made a guy point that if your deductable is around $500 then your damage will be enough to cover the deductable. If you want to go that route that is, of course a lot of fairings can be found on Ebay or respective websites dedicated to a certain bike for cheap (taken off in favor of race fairings).

If and when I drop or crash, I'm not sure what I will do.
