Very nice bit of driving! Kudos to you for reacting to the emergency and living to tell about it. Major kudos for keeping the Goose safe.

It can't be said enough, Sapaul - glad you're still with us!! Even though I've always been a "good" driver, I too find that biking has made me much more attentive in the cage. It's a crazy world out there - gotta stay on your toes.

Cheers,
Loonette

We have been talking about the whole episode and collecting witness statements and most people said that they did not really know what happened, to me it was like the whole world had slowed down and I had all the time in the world. The Goose said that I was talking all the time and telling her what I was going to do. Loonette, you must be just like me, we discussed before how "high" we get when throw the leg over. I think I went there on auto. The poor guy in the Camry just froze with his foot on the brake.
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

Just goes to show the end can happen any time.

Try and avoid it as much as possible while still living for the moment.

Really glad you're okay dude.
