We weren't huge fans or anything, but it will still be hard to tell my kids about this in the morning. He had a good run.

Cheers,

Yeah, I heard about it earlier. Stingray barb to the heart, what a way to go. I always knew some creature would get him, I know he wasn't going to die of natural causes, but alas, it was nature that got him.

He was always getting nibbled on my some creature or another. I remember once he brushed up against a toxic plant, and his arm swelled up like he had elephantiasis. It's the type of life he lived, and thus the same type of death.

I still laugh everytime I see the one where hes in Washington state (I think) looking for rattle snakes, and hes all hunkered down looking at one, and then gets this strange look on his face.,..looks down and goes..."Theres one right between my legs" and hes wearing those ball hanger shorts too... that woulda been a bad one to explain to the ER folks.

RIP Steve....you're luck was bound to run out sooner or later though, ask that guy who went filming and living with the grizzly bears.

Poor guy. You always knew something was going to catch up with him. But its still a shock that it did.
