Condensation or cold affecting clutch switch?

#1 Unread post by shirleysd »

I have a Suzuki Marauder. I went from nice weather (bike started fine) to cold/ foggy weather and the bike wouldn't start. It would when someone pushed me and i let out the clutch in second. When I touched the pin coming out of the clutch switch so that it would come out farther, the bike started. When I got back to nice weather, I didn't need to do that anymore. WHY??
Thanks
Shirley

I'll try that, so you think the moisture built up on the dirty contacts?
I've had no problem with it starting since I got back into dryer weather.

thanks
