'99 Honda Nighthawk 750 - Decent Price

#1 Unread post by TxCZShooter »

Blue Book/Nada have it less than $3K, but dealer price is $3099. 10K Miles, Chrome is bright, paint is shiney, tires are new. Looks well taken care of.

Don't hesitate!

I would kill for a nighthawk. It is the perfect bike in my opinion. If it's what you want, get it.

Ask what maintenace they had to do to it and make sure they changed the oil and all that jazz. Surely, having the dealer's mechanic give it the once over is worth $99.

I misunderstood your original post. However, I am seeing bluebook at 3250, and I would not look at the NADA price as they are grotesquely low. Also, check your local craigslist and see what they are going for in your area.

I still think it is a fantastic deal!

$3099 is not unreasonable from a dealer. You could do a few hundred dollars better buying from a private party, but it could take awhile. Nighthawks are popular with their owners and don't tend to come up for sale all that often.

If $3099 is the dealer's asking price, you may be able to get him to come down a bit. I doubt he paid more than $2,500 for it.
