ok
my bike ran well yesterday until the throttle linkage to the left card fell off. So I fiddle around and reattached the throttl eto the carb. While I was doing this I didn't set the valve to off
is it possible that I flooded it? I tried tonight again and still no start.
Also, my bike has a battery but no electric start just a kickstart. Would the battery cause the bike not to start?
Please help

if it has a vacum petcock you probally didnt flood it. but anythings possible. check for spark, fuel and compression. these are the basics that a engine needs to start.

Just a random thought..... you've re-attached the linkage to the carb, but have you verified that it actually operating the butterflies or slides? Or they aren't fully open when they should be closed?
BTW... what kind of carbs are they on your bike? It's a 2-stroke twin.... right? So I'm guessing they might be old round-slides...?
