Multimeter question

Is there any differrent between an multimeter and multi circuit tester?

I believe that a multi-circuit tester is probably a super-set of the multimeter... more features = more expensive. At least for automobile purposes you only need voltage and resistance mesurement in addition to measuring currents for the smaller electronic circuits.
