Total riding experience

#1 Unread post by pacedawg »

I finally had the chance to take the bike out for a long cruise. I had mostly just taken trips around te local backroads but this time I had the opportunity to meet up with a buddy in North Jersey to do some work on the bike and really get acquainted with the bike. Talk about a great experience! We changed te oil and filter and performed some other maintenance as well as putting on new vance & hines pipes. Wow do they sound amazing. I couldn't believe how loud they were. It really makes the bike sound like a real muscle cruiser even though it is just an 800. During this trip I had three firsts. . . I hit the GSP (Garden State Parkway), got a little rain and night driving in. Awesome day and to top it off, I decided to take the a ride down to AC to see the ChopperExpo show at the convention center. A lot of the big names were there and some unbelievable bikes. Great deals on gear too.

Sounds like a pretty productive day. What kind of bike are you riding?

05 M50. Love the ride. The only criticism I can give it is its power. I just wish I started out a bit bigger but a great bike none the less.

Well, I only rode on it for two days, because I had to travel to Mexico City and I will come back in two weeks to start to enjoy my bike....

I made a small trip of 100 miles but started to rain and wasn´t a good experience, there was a "arroyos" (small rivers) on the road and I had to wait until the water get down..... It took me 5 hrs to made this 100 miles trip.... :(

I´ll put later a thread about this trip with pics....
