My best friend rides the 85 700 and it's a great bike. Very comfortable. He has about 40,000 miles on it. he bought it a couple years ago from an estate where it had been in storage for 4 years. Did carb work and had fork seals and tires replaced and never has had any issues since.

My first bike was an 84 magna 700. It was a great bike, I only had minor problems with it. Like the carbs, which is actually routine maintenance I believe. Plus they have a good size following and are easy to re-sell.
