Well, I guess we can thank Canada for the weather we got here today. It did snow for just a few minutes around noon, but nothing significant at all. Just a sign of things to come, I suppose. We're lucky enough in this region that we'll still get some decent riding days in during the Winter. Not so for you guys, I know. Hang in there - Spring will come again.
Cheers,
Loonette

It was chilly, and windy here today, but wasn't too bad, pretty soon I'll have to start bundling up to ride.

Monsters! Don't say SNOW! heh, we're still getting rain...please no snow until after NOV..pleeEASE!
NorthernPete, what are you doing to do to pass the snow season if you aren't riding? I think for me it'll be a chance to get the seat shaved, paint the exhaust, finish getting switches setup on the right. I'll also do some reading (got Hough's books on the way), and build some model planes. Hopefully even get out and hit some winter sports. Ski/snowboard trips are cheap here.

I rode in 40*F temps last night. It wasn't so bad since I came prepared for it. Insulated pants/jacket/gloves and a balaclava underneath my full face. My neck got a little cold, but I didn't tuck in the balaclava under my jacket. I'll wear an extra pair of socks underneath the Sidi boots as my toes got cold after a while too. Other than that, I was pretty darn toasty
