Oh, I've long since forgotten. It must have been dozens of times. I learned to ride a bike by getting on it and trying to work out what this lever did and that one and that twiddly thing on the handlebar... I remember it took me a while to figure out how to go round corners. I didn't do the gearbox many favours either. A mate eventually came to the rescue but not until I was covered with road rash. It was all worth it though

Twice. Once in the parking lot at church learning to ride through the cones, and once on the highway when a car stalled in front of me. The last 15,000 miles, none.

Three.
First time in my first 10 min. of street riding. I learned not to ever grab the front brake in the middle of a low speed turn.
Second time I was riding in traffic with friends and they started getting behind. I looked over my shoulder for them and when I looked forward again, the car in front of me had stopped. I bounced off the bumper an dropped it.
Third time I was trying to merge into the right lane of traffic (for an exit) on a congested freeway at about 75 mph. Just as I was moving into the lane, everybody hit their brakes because of an accident up ahead. I'd left little room between the car ahead and myself, so I ended up flying over a Cadillac. Totalled the front end of the bike and spent a bit of time in the emergency room.
BTW - This was before the days of MSF classes. I'm pretty confident that if I'd had someone knowledgable teach me to ride, I wouldn't have made so many stupid mistakes. As it was, I learned the hard way, but I did eventually learn. I haven't put a scratch on a bike for about 20 yrs. now.

Once. I tried to do a U'ie in gravel at the end of a road. I ended up going too slow due to my n00b clutch skillz, and fell suddenly. I had a cut with a stone lodged in it, and the bike's highway bar prevented any collateral damage. I was scared shitless because I had no idea HOW I fell, but I just picked it up and rode away. I never told anyone because there are so many haters for us n00b motorcyclists

On the ninja? none.
On the XR200R.... let's put it this way, for a couple of weeks last summer, every time i rode it, i was down at least once until i put myself in the ER. That ended THAT riding season. Good thing I wasn't with the Ninja yet.

Glad I'm not the only one...
Twice, both because of stopping with wheel turned.
First time I was at the bottom of a hill at an intersection where I wasn't going to stop and then saw a truck come flying around the corner (he didn't have a stop sign) so I hit the breaks which caused me to lock it up after I'd turned the wheel.
Second time was like two days later when I was turning out of a parking lot and let out the cluth while going too slow and not giving the bike enough gas, so it chugged and I went down again.
Take that part of the class where they make you straighten your wheel before slamming on your breaks to heart. I'm just glad I was going slow when each of mine happened.
