Max Air Carburetor Solenoid Removal kit?

Max Air offers this kit for 2006 and 2007 yamaha 1100 vstars that have changed to an after market exhaust without a catalytic converter. i just recently purchased hardkrome 2 into 1 sideburners and was wondering if I should look into this product.
