A question regarding 'handicap' modified bikes...Shorts?

If I recall correctly, 1970's BMWs used right-hand turn signals that went under-ish the throttle. If you could cannabalize one from a boneyard that might do the trick.

I say use hand signals as well. I have been doing so for a few weeks since I got a dual sport with the signals removed. I may put some back on it one day, but until then hand signals will suffice.

hand signals might not be a bad idea actually - the electrics aren't required back home, where you know half the population doesn't know how to use them anyway (in a cage or on a bike)
