Gummi, thanks for the invite, and hey (waving to the left) to everyone on here.
I started riding at 8 years old, first on an 80cc trailbike bored & stroked to 92. My bro & I used to race it locally. Eventually, it shrunk too much so I graduated to a Honda 125, then 250, then a Norton 650, I think it was. By then it was time to go to Univrsity, and I hung up the helmet for a while, got married, raised 2 wonderful kids, then met up with some new friends who rode, got the itch, and almost got a divorce when I bought a '94 FXSTC. But after riding 2-up for 8 years, my wife decided it was time to join the group and in '02 she bought a Shadow ACE 750, took the safety course and as you can see in the picture in the motorcycle (Honda sction) is having a blast. There are 2 pics of my bikes in the Harley section. My wife on my FXSTC and me with my '05 retirement prezzie from her. Road King Classic, lowered front & back, extra bags on the sadlebag rails, windshield bag, extra fog lights on the engine guards, bag liners, heated vest, factory alarm & pager. So, I guess she has forgiven me for buying the '94 Softtail.
KingRobb, just caught your tag line. This is a bit of a contradiction is it not? A true 'nonmechanical racist' Would not imply the 3 wheelers, 57 wheelers etc should not 'ride on'KingRobb wrote:
Mechanical racism is dumb....if it has two wheels ride on.
I can see where if you looked hard enough you could find contradiction there. But the fact is that tag has to do with the constant bickering between American (or mostly) bikes and everyone else. Pesronally I dont care about trikes (altho some are pretty cool) and I definately dont care about cars, trucks or other cage lifeforms.....but I do like bikes....some more than others and my preference is obvious.....but I support all two wheelers.Wizenheimer wrote:KingRobb, just caught your tag line. Personally I ride an 07 FLHRSE3 SERK. My opinion of any other ride is that they are substandard including the remainder of the CVO 110cid lineup. But my daughter feels the same way about her 90cc AMF Indian!![]()

If we all didn't think the same about our current ride I'd say it was time for a new ride!
