Engine braking was very good on my sportsman 700, it had a cvt driven transmission.

Almost too good in fact. It was very abrupt in low gear and pretty affective still in high gear.

They deffinitely tried to make them look good, but just didn`t get all the way there. You`ll never see me riding an automatic bike.

should have realized form the thread that was an "auto"tranny....still a very cool looking bike....

I would be interested to see how it preforms.
