Actually for a relatively small investment you could get a fleet of 15 or 20 (they don't really have to be new) and rent them in the summer time. Throw a few scooters in the mix. i'd research the insurance part of it, but other then that I think you could make some pretty good cash at it.

I dunno...you'd get alot of new riders I think, meaning more accidents. And maintenance on 15 bikes would be a bear of a chore, just in oil changes and regular stuff not including repairs! And your business would be seasonal.Scott58 wrote:Actually for a relatively small investment you could get a fleet of 15 or 20 (they don't really have to be new) and rent them in the summer time. That's why the insurance risk is placed on the rider. Consider what harley charges to rent bikes. Seasonal may be all you need. Not to mention the joy of owning 15 or 20 motorcycles! If I was truly interested in making money out of motorcycles (other then mechanic related) I'd look into it.

In Mexico city, with the politic "planton" in the zocalo, the main square in downtown, that closed the main streets and avenues, started to transit "motorcycle taxis", and many people took it. I dont know, if they was legal or not, and if in this moment that the "planton" is over, they still are working.....
