Picked up my enclosed trailer

#1 Unread post by KeithB »

Before you jump on me for trailing. I have riden over 12,000 miles this summer and seldom use the trailer.

But a trailer comes in handy, and when i do trailer no road crap on my scoot, and you can just leave the bike in the trailer and it's high and dry. Could be used for winter storage.

Also good for many uses , like gettign lumber or stuff fo rthe house, etc.

It's a 5x10 with drop down tailgate/door, can carry 1500 pounds.

Except for the color, it looks similar to the Wells Cargo 15 ft. box trailer I used to haul my quads. I also used it as a camper when hauling just one quad and all the camping gear in the summer up in the woods.

Because bikes are to be ridden, not trailered.

sure, not all the time though.

non-street legal bikes should be trailered.

trailers are great for dirtbikes, track prepped bikes, and full racebikes.

he said it snows where he is.

i think that's valid enough for a trailer.

"Honey, I am just taking the bike out for a spin"

"But it is snowing!"

"Yeah, I know. I am taking the trailer"

Depends on where you go, you'll need both a vehicle and a bike.

Nice trailer Keith. Personally I like flatbeds, but enclosed does have its advantages.

Didn't think about the camper possiblity :)

There are times to trailer, like this winter when we go south and wanna take the scoot

Sometimes I go to club evevents that are far away andend after dark and not crazy about riding a long ways home in the dark.

also i live 2 miles up a dirt road and there are riding days ion the winter but my road is always a mess in the winter.

As stated i am over 12k miles this year
