Today I have a salad and a granola bar!! I always start "good" on monday!!

Saturday night I went to a boring halloween party and ate a TON of candy. I drank no alcohol (although there was PLENTY) and yesterday, I had a horrendous headache! Was that a "candy over"? I should have drank!!

There were snickers, razzles, 3 musketeers, sweettarts, lafft taffy, nerds, milk duds, skittles, and these little skulls and bones. I brought pumpkin donuts, and hubby made hot coco (with kaluha, rum, or BV).

We don't get any kids at our house - I'm about 250 feet off the road. Our one neighbor may bring his kid over...I have smarties and hershey bars. Hmmm, I better buy more, just in case

The toilet just looks better, with the seat down, lid up. It looks funny all closed, and well, obscene  when the lid and seat are up. Guess it's just not an attractive thing!

Your body uses water to process sugars. You were probably just dehydrated. Next time drink more water while binging!!

Fixed that for ya.

Bah! How convenient. I think the rule should be seat+lid down always. Its much more attractive than looking into a bowl of water. Your cats are less likely to drink from it and then try to lick your face, and neither party can complain because you both use the same amount of effort to use the thing and no one can be accused to laziness by insisting it be ready for them at all times.

Yeah, TechTMW, Sunday I probably drank about a gallon of water! I forgot to bring the 2 litre bottle of seltzer I bought for my "drink" to the party. Ususally go around with a large water bottle. I do drink alcohol occasionally, but just not as much as i used to. I must have heard it'll age ya!

I didn't wear a costume either!! Just my normal clothes - my old beat up MC jacket from HS (the classic kind with the belt that would RUIN a tank bad), my everyday fave cowboy boots (plain brown justins) and a sweater. At least two people asked me if I was a redneck or a cowboy!

No, no. no..... I'm not trying to get off the toilet hook!! I really think it looks best lid up, seat down. But, I belive our lid is usually closed - I have one dog that loves the icy cold water you get there. One (the terrier) just likes to look in there - it's her "job" to push her way and look at things....

Mmmm free eats! That's a bonus!

Where do you work that at 4am you can get full breakfast?

Yeah, that is probably the best way for it to be. The toilet can be an evil, evil thing!

The toilet is a thing to be revered and respected

At the last bank I worked at, the building was circa 1790. And the plumbing was old. My office was on the second floor, next to the board room. There was a tiny bathroom. I generally didn't use that BR, the toilet was "touchy" - it ran, it got clogged easy. But I'd go in there to check my makeup (good natural light and a mirror), wash my hands (good hot water and soap)... But in general, we stated out - it was for Memebrs of the Board of Directors of the Bank (horn blowing).

It was winter. I had a cold. So I went in there to blow my nose really well, then wash my hands. Without thinking, I threw the tissue in the toilet, and flushed it. The water spun. The level rose. So I flushed again. Again, just a spin and a rise. So I flushed it yet again, and held down the handle. Of course, the water rose right to the brim.

Just then, the president of the bank's secretary came up, to put out materials for the Board meeting. I guess I forgot it was Board day! She saw me in the bathroom, and asked what was going on. I told her.

Who would have expected this from a nearly 65 year old woman? She whips off the square lid, exposes the guts that make the toilet work, and yanks the hose! It was the hose that puts water to the BOWL!!

So the water rises up over the top of the toilet, and starts cascading on to the floor. I can now hear the board members arriving in the other room. Somehow, she plugs the hose back in, and the water stops coming out of the toilet. I grab the roll of paper towels and start mopping...

Hmmm I'm thinking these paper towels are pretty absorbant.... we must be o....

All of a sudden, the janitor kid comes running upstairs "There's water running down the sides of the walls in the branch! It's dripping all over the manager's desk"

OOOPS!

So we go running down - and all over the 1800's style lobby is toilet water! And it's dripping all over the manager's desk! His papers, calculator, computer, desk chair!!! Luckily, his customer just left, and he was up at the teller line....

So, we never really got in "trouble". After all it was HER fault!!

PS - That manager now works at the same credit union as me, and his office is right next door to mine!
