I send money on a standing order to a dog charity here in the UK (I'm English - of course I do). They send me histories of the dogs that come under their protection. Some of them are hardly believeable. I also have a friend who is a RSPCA inspector (Royal Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Animals). He also tells me stories. And some of the stories are enough to start my stomach churning.

I just can't imagine what must go through the minds of people who maim and torture animals for 'fun'. But I reckon it must be fairly common. I went to school with a guy who used to catch rabbits and then set fire to them in the washrooms. He also used to beat out the brains of stray cats against a wall behind the classrooms. I believe he is behind bars now.

Serial killers start out doing "poo poo" like that to animals before moving on to people. Hopefully this is not a the beginning of something worse.
A dog had his chain reduced one link at a time, every few days, until his chain was so short he could barely move. He never resisted because he was conditioned to the loss of his freedom slowly, over time. Are we in this country becoming like the dog?

That's part of the reason this petition is circulating. To impose tougher penalties on people who do do this sort of "poo poo" in the hopes of making sure it doesn't progress to something worse.

There are people in my class who were actively considering heading down there and carrying out some eye for an eye justice.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

I got no sympathy for these turds. Kill em now. Before they pollute the gene pool anymore than it already is.

Might wanna have a go at sterelizing the family that let em turn out like this too.

On second though. Just bash the parents in the head till they drool involuntarily for the rest of their vegetative lives.

I'm sick of morons like this getting a free ride.

Aluminium is too light, you could get a lot more momentum outta swinging an iron crowbar

I think in this case, I'd prefer a THUNKCRACK type sound
