HAPPY SAMHAIN & A MERRY DIA DE LOS MUERTOS

#1 Unread post by Loonette »

It was a beautiful day for a ride today (out of many, many not-so-good riding days).
Tomorrow it's Trick-or-Treating with the kids (probably in the rain). It'll still be a blast - my first year in about 25 with a costume for myself!!

Happy Halloween from me and my bike.
Cheers,
Loonette

No... it's a Mexican Christian celebration occurring typically November the 2nd - one day after All Saints Day (although some celebrate it on November 1st). It's a celebration honoring our ancestors - Day of the Dead. Never in Springtime.

Cheers,
Loonette

Wasn't talking about All Saint's Day (only as a reference) - was talking about Dia de los Muertos - one day after All Saint's Day.

Me and my kids ready for trick-or-treating. It's my first costume in 25 years. I wore it to work afterward - my customers were thoroughly entertained.

Cheers,
Loonette
