Almost right on 25,000 km a year. And that was with a couple months of tear down as well.

12-14,000 kms annually. mainly leisure riding.

(My previous XS1100 has accumulated 182,000 kms, mostly dragging a chair around. Now that's not bad.)
79 XS eleven-you gotta say yes to another excess

I just got back into riding two years ago. I put on just over 20,000km last year from Mar. to Nov. Most of it was just commuting to work, and more than just a few longer rides, ie: Vancouver to Calgary to see my daughters. :roll2:

Talking about conversions, how about kms to tyre per year. I am running about 6000kms per rear and am now on my third. Had the K1200S since May and am about 12 000kms, should put me on 20 000 per annum and 4 rears and one front. OuCH
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

Man, I am hating the tire thing. I bought two rear tires this year, and I refuse to buy two next year. If I don't keep my milage down I think I'll need a second job to pay for tires.

I rode approximately 10,000 miles in the last year. It was all recreational riding since I don't ride to work.

Let's see:

On the "01 FXDXT there is 54K+, so approximately 13K per year, and
On the "00 1200XL there is 40K+, so approximately 8K per year,

so roughly two and one half tire changes per year.

That also includes the daily 50 mile commute to work, spring, summer, fall, and winter (not counting the black ice or snow days).
