Hey everyone, i have a 92 FZR600 that i bought off of a friend about 2 months ago. It has been jetted and has a vance and hines pipe. The engine has 20000 miles on it. When i first bought the bike it was running great. After about a month and a half, out of no where the bike started to sputter and stall when started. The engine also had very deep tone and was not running on all cylinders. I brought it to the shop and they cleaned the carbs and changed the spark plugs. I didnt get a full tank of gas through it until one of the plugs faulted again. So i changed the plug and the bike ran great again for about 3/4 of a tank and now it has started the same thing over again. Does anyone have any idea as to what might be causing the plugs to keep going like this. Please help.
Thanks
Shane

trouble
check your float heights
That'll foul the plugs real fast.
Just pull the bowls and any manual should have the height they should be.
This site might help..put in your bike's specs

Depends on what kind of foul it is check your manual and compare them. Plus do you have the stock air box and was the jetting changed when the pipe was changed. When you put on a pipe it needs more air and gas mixture to run at ideal performance. You also need to sycronise, however you spell it, you carbs. Increase you air flow too. Most people do pods just make sure there NOT K&N. They dont filter nothing. Go with UNI pods thats what I run and my motors are still going strong on both my street bikes. Plus my carbs are clean no delay in throtle response. Even on the 71 lol. Remember inproper fuel mixture will foul a plug quick.
