Now that is lazy.
Actually it's just what I'm used to. I used to race Go Karts and my helmets back then were made by Bieffe and they didn't have the D rings, they had basically a smaller version of a seat belt clip. So I never got used to D rings on my helmets and they frustrate me.

Also I frequentyl don't take of my gloves when I get off my bike. I might be putting a piece of gum in my mouth or walking through a store.

My Nolan came with this but it is much better made. It is a nice thing to have as it takes me all of 2 seconds to buckle it and remove it with gloved hands.

Exactly, it's a preference. It's adding a bit of simplicity and user friendlyness to my daily ride. If I'm going to go anywhere in my town it will only take 2-15 minutes to get there. It takes me more than 2 minutes to strap my helmet on with D rings.

perhaps I'll try that... and I can even get blue electrical tape that will match my helemt a bit better...hmmm painters tape would probably work as well.

2 Minutes?!! To loop a strap through two rings?

Since I never have to do it, and since I usually have had gloves on (like when we had a 5 minute break at my RiderCourse didn't take my gloves off just my helmet to drink some water) I just get frustrated with it, which messes it up more.
