Strong carts, doesn't you bike weigh like 500-600lbs? Who picks it up?
Duh - I can't believe I wrote that. I mean helmet.
I had to laugh though thinking of my bike in a shopping cart.
Awww, man........ and I was having such a great time visualizing you somehow quickly hooking up the bike's drive chain to the cart's rear wheels......vrooomm!!
I've got a helmet lock, but only one side works (dual lock thingie... wonder how I fix that). I haven't gotten my own helmet or gear yet, so I'm extra cautious with it.
-shrugs- Guess I'll just have to keep carrying it with me.
It goes where I go. I don't trust that it will not be stolen, if not stolen then damaged and if not damaged then pissed on. If it's with me then the chances of anything happening to it diminish rapidly.
I usually stuff my necktor and my gloves into my lid and then carry my lid by the jaw. My jacket I just unzip to allow cool me down and I'm good to go. It's no real biggy and does mean I have a nice solid object in case of muggers!
Depends on where we stop and outside weather, sometimes the helmet stays with the bike, sometimes it goes with us. We usually always keep jackets on and gloves go in the pockets.
What can I say? I've got an "old man's bike." But then I'm an old man.

I think I've left stuff only 3x with my bike: once at a m-c museum parking lot amongst a whole bunch of other bikes, the other 2 were the same day in different lots - again parked with lots of other bikes at the annual toy run. Usually I'll take it all with me.
Ya right, there are only 2 kinds of bikes: It's a Ninja... look that one's a Harley... oh there's a Ninja... Harley...Ninja...
If you don't lock up your wheels your just asking to get your bike stolen. Esp. if you have an R6.
I put my helmet on the passenger peg and lock up the back wheel with the helmet together and toss the gloves in the helmet. Kryptonite locks work well but not for $70. I've seen one cut before.
But really, in the U.S. there are alot of people who work on their own bikes and know general stuff and are like me and know how the ignition works. If I can steal my own bike just sitting there unattended so can YOU. But please don't. Even without knowing the ignition system, everyone knows neutral and thats enough to roll an R6 up onto a truck and drive off in 5 minutes tops.
