Need help!!!!

#1 Unread post by kartking22 »

Finally figured out why my 77 harley drains the battery when the headlights are on. I had replaced everything from the generator to the voltage generator and also the battery. Seems that the voltage regulator being new is not set to charge the battery in this application. The voltage regulator is basically designed for a larger motor. Does anyone know which contact to adjust to get my power back to the battery?

Not sure at all, but if you post this in the "Trouble Shooting" forum or in the "Harley Members" forum, you might get a quicker response. Good luck!
