My 81 year old widowed mother LOVES LOVES LOVES Bill O'Reilly. I asked her "Ma! Do you HEAR what he says??" and her answer was "Who cares? He's a good looking Irishman!"

So, there you go!

"Basically what you have is a large portion of the population, mostly younger people under the age of 45, who don't deal with reality -- ever. So they don't know what day it is; they don't know temperature it is; they don't know what their neighbor looks like. They don't know anything... because they are constantly diverted by a machine. Now what this does is it takes a person away from reality because they've created their own reality."

All this time I thought geeks were smart esp. when they call me a geek for getting a 3.7 GPA despite all my game playing and my job.

What about celebrities who party lavishly and make several millions a year while I focus on paying bills but need a fun time or some tunes on a trip home?

I guess I feel guilty for buying a Nintendo Wii to enjoy during my Thanksgiving off from classes.

"I don’t own an iPod. I would never wear an iPod… If this is your primary focus in life - the machines… it’s going to have a staggeringly negative effect, all of this, for America… did you ever talk to these computer geeks? I mean, can you carry on a conversation with them? …I really fear for the United States because, believe me, the jihadists? They’re not playing the video games. They’re killing real people over there."

Sad to know some people are following him like blind sheep too.

Hey Kal who's that Richardson or what ever guy on Top Gear in the UK that openly hates bikers? Any cult followers there?

I'm all for opinions but sometimes people act on ignorance.

Bill O'Reilly was a tabloid journalist. Original host of that bastion of journalistic quality "Inside Edition". Frankly, after seeing that for years, I couldn't figure out why anyone would take him seriously. He's was a sensationalist showman then, and I don't really see much difference with his current job.

What's next. Insightful political commentary from the editors of the National Enquirer?

Anywho, I used to like Bill O'Reilly, I even read one of his books, but after the whole sex scandal thing, I lost whatever respect I had for him. This whole thing is just silly, I love video games, but I seem to be doing alright for myself.
Yep, Metallica

Oh, I love metallica (I went to a metallica/godsmack concert a couple years ago), I just didn't recognize the lyrics.
