for the most part its a very sexy bike but for some reason i don't like the pointy front (just personal opinion). for some reason i think im more consurned about looks then speed. although im sure that would be a lot better for the freeway.

I am in the same dilemma but i think i will decide to start small with a used 250 and have it for 3-6 months then get a used 500 for another 3-6 months, and then buy a nice shiny new one (600+) with at least 6 months experience on the 250 and 500. If you buy used it wont be too much for either bike, and after a few months the it wont depreciate in value that much.
